This 1.5 Hour session will cover, discuss and provide insider information on topics such as:
College/University Training, Auditions, Employment, Agents, Unions and the long term life in the Theatre.
There will also be a question & answer section where you will be free to ask the tough questions you've been wondering about this competitive, complicated and multi-faceted business.
After almost 50 professional productions, Heather McGuigan is one of Canada's most consistent and established actors. A graduate of the Sheridan College-Performance Program, represented by The Talent House, she has worked coast to coast in Canada and the US with such companies as MTC, Chemainus, Grand Theatre, Theatre Aquarius, Neptune Theatre, Capitol Theatre, TIP, Charlottetown Festival, Mirvish, Drayton Entertainment, The Stratford Festival, The Shaw Festival, and 4 North Ameican and Broadway Tours. In 2016, Heather can be seen at The Neptune Theatre as Princess Fiona in Shrek.

GALEN JOHNSON
Galen has been performing for over 15 years across Canada and the United States. Some of his many credits include: We Will Rock You (Mirvish), Man of La Mancha, Pirates of Penzance, Tommy, Crazy For You and 42nd Street (Stratford Festival) Siegfried (COC) as well as 2 US National Tours and many productions for Drayton Entertainment, Neptune Theatre, Chemainus Theatre, Theatre Aquarius and The Charlottetown Festival. Galen is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria and is represented by The Talent House. In 2016, Galen can be seen at The Stratford Festival in A Chorus Line and The Hypocondriac.
